Professional jewellery designers and Central St Martin graduates, Martin Hopton and Tracy Furlong, established The St Albans School of Jewellery in 2009. Together they have over 35 years of experience in the jewellery industry and share a passion for guiding students through projects in order to develop new skills.

Martin graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in 1990, and has taught there for over 23 years on the BA (Hons) Jewellery Design.

Tracy graduated from St Martins College of Art and Design in 1998. Tracy has held many positions as a jewellery designer / maker and teaches Jewellery making too.

Martin and Tracy specialise in  traditional and modern approaches in the art of  jewellery  design and  making   techniques.

Martin and Tracy have designed their perfect workshop to provide a dynamic and inspirational creative environment for students to develop their own designs and jewellery making skills.

Both passionate about the art of   design and making  and have a genuine desire to share their skills  with students.
